Poultry Slam

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  Last Saturday, the Outing Club joined up with URI Slowfood for a morning of turkey processing at Pat’s Pastured in Jamestown, RI.  Pat’s is a free-range, organic, and local poultry farm, and they were nice enough to take us through the entire turkey killing and eviscerating process.  We even got a free turkey out of it. Yum!
